Job Overview:
Were on the hunt for an engineer to join our growing team, someone who’s got the skills and the drive to help us keep pushing forward. The perfect candidate will have a solid grounding in the technical side of things, plus a willingness to get stuck in and help out where they can.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engineering solutions as needed for our projects\
- Get out to site, perform technical inspections and do some troubleshooting\
- Create technical drawings, reports and all that other documentation\
- Work with production, maintenance and quality teams to keep everything running\
- Make sure we’re all sticking to the rules, following quality norms and company policies\
- Keep an eye on project progress and help us get things done on time\
- Find ways to improve how we do things, so we can boost efficiency, productivity and cut costs\
- Get your hands dirty with the equipment and machinery relevant to the job\
- Help out with installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance – the usual stuff
What You’ll Need to Bring to the Party:
- A solid knowledge of the engineering fundamentals in your area\
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings and specs\
- Hands on experience with the tools and machinery we use\
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills\
- A basic understanding of quality standards and safety regulations\
- Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team\
- And the ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and all that
Educational Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, production or industrial, or related field)
Nice to Haves ( but not essential ):
- Some experience working in a manufacturing, plant, construction or industrial environment\
- Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks or PLC systems\
- Familiarity with things like ISO standards, maintenance systems or ERP software would be a bonus
